UruguAi Legal (now The Legal Tool)

UruguAi Legal is a research assistant for lawyers in Uruguay. Instead of searching case-law databases by keyword, you ask a question in plain language and get an answer that cites the rulings and statutes it’s based on, so you can check the sources yourself.

It launched in January 2024 and has since been rebranded as The Legal Tool.

Research with sources

Ask about a legal topic or a specific case and get a written answer linked to the underlying documents. Follow-up questions keep the context of the conversation, so the research can continue from the previous answer.

Working with documents

The transcription tool turns legal documents and case files into searchable text.

Calculating deadlines

A dedicated calculator computes procedural deadlines for filings.

The product has reached 1,250+ users since its January 2024 launch and now operates as The Legal Tool.
