wysh web app

wysh is a US insurer that sells term life and accidental death coverage online. There’s no medical exam and no agent: you size your policy on the site, answer a questionnaire, and get covered in minutes.

I joined the project through Effectus Software in 2022–2023 as part of the front-end team.

What the product does

  • Term life and accidental death policies, sized with an online calculator
  • Fully online application, no medical exam
  • Manage and adjust coverage from the web app

What I worked on

  • The customer-facing web app in React and TypeScript
  • The data layer against the GraphQL API
